Combine this with late-night street performers and you have a recipe for something that the entire family will enjoy.
But you don’t have to stay in the hotter cities in Japan during the summer months. Take a trip on the wild side and head to Hokkaidō – Japan’s northernmost island. Here visitors can hike in some of the most unspoiled wilderness in the world – and places which in wintertime are simply inaccessible. This is wild Asia at its absolute most unspoiled best.
